RAW is a simple yet powerful word.
When it's presented in emotional form, it means to be strong and undisguised. Two emotions that I had to come face-to-face with when I started my journal as a Holistic Nutritionist. In 2014, I made a deeply personal confession to my friends and family that I had been hiding for some time- I was suffering from an eating disorder.
My life changed that day. For the first time, I allowed myself to be completely vulnerable about what was actually going on with my physical and mental body. I learned that we are responsible for our own healing process and that we means we must accept where we are physically and emotionally in order to take the necessary steps to heal and change our lifestyle.
That's when the true beauty of vulnerability starts to shine because we're being raw about who we are.
RAW Holistic Nutrition embodies all that is real by working closely with the physical and emotional body to change every aspect of a person's well being through the consumption of whole and natural foods. RAW focuses on helping individuals live better and healthier by educating them on nutrition so that they are aware of what they are eating and how it affects their body.
I believe that the food we consume is more than just fuel for our body. It's medicine that has the power to heal and nourish any kind of imbalance we are experiencing.
I believe in being raw.
